That puts a different spin on the topic, because it deals directly with who you are,
how you deal with clients and what level of value you represent to them.

If you are the type of supplier who becomes a problem solver for clients; one who
takes initiatives by suggesting what is best in a particular project, then you will
deserve the “A” class clients. Those you want to keep forever and build your business on.

Becoming a leader in this industry is an essential part of branding yourself in your
local community. You want people to tell others who you are and how well
they have been served.

Years ago, my first marketing mentor, Maurice, asked me this question: “What do you want your clients to say about you?” My reply was immediate; “I want people to say that when looking for the best value / price / quality ratio, they should come there is only one place in the Greater Montreal. Our studio”.

With that in mind, he helped us design our specific branding, which focused on that single goal. It may sound cliche but it worked!
